Steven, thank you. Layout handling is perfect now for my translation, but one bug found: play some track from music library, then pause it. Go to podcasts catalog, select one of podcasts, click 'Play' button - tack from music library is resumed (I expected that podcast is played in this situation). And related issue: click 'Stop' button now and 'Play' button becomes non-localized.

Not sure about my previous .lng, but in my current language file this string is localized and I have no problem with 'matches...' button - the problem is that the window opened after clicking this button is not fully localized: "word 'Tags' in window title and in blue comment text is not localized".

In Tools - Rip CD - Rip CD Window the text "drag artwork here or right click to paste" for artwork ist not translated.

In my german translation is now enough room  for all field descriptions, messages and button descriptions since last update.

Thank you Steven for your really good work on it.

One other wish is not directly affected by translation. Please make the bpm-field in tag editor a little bit wider, because some

DJ-Programs use fractional digits in this field, it's to small (eg. 127.9888).

Small problems with the translation, visible at least while using the latest Portuguese translation:

Missing translations:

In the Tag Inspector the descriptions "ALBUM ARTIST" and "TLEN" are untranslated. Seems like TLEN doesn't even have full length description.


In the preferences panel there are two cases where controls overlap text:

Preferences -> CD Ripping   [Preferências -> Extracção de CD]

At least on this pc the combo box with the available ripping devices extends over the "read offset" [offset de leitura] text label that follows it.

Preferences -> Now Playing -> Notification Popup   [Preferências -> Em Reprodução -> Personalizar]

On the "override popup window size:..." line I see "forçar o tamanho da janela pop-up: 300 x 300 px"

The "p" in the middle px text label is missing.



PS: typo in the english translation: there are several occurrences of "Permenantly".

the tag inspector doesnt provide translations for the values in the "Tag Code" column
for the "Tag Name" column values, a translation is done only if the name maps to a standard musicbee field.
Album Artist is an exception and its a bit tricky for internal reasons so i will leave that un-translated in this screen

OK, I'll wait for it. Up to now it's the only non working artefact I saw in the translation.

Steven, thank you for great work. No known issues remained for russian translation. I'll post my current localization in Russian translation topic later.  Just to remind you (you was going to fix these 2 issues later and maybe you have enough time to do it now. I wont repost these issues):

19. Names of standard auto-playlists (and eq presets) are not localized.

39. Small issue: it would be good to use localized list separator in status bar (‘selected: # files, # mins…’) from Windows settings (actually its not the question of decoration because ',' is used as decimal point in Russian, so something like '25 files, 13,56MB, 30 mins' looks messy).

Steven, nobody answered one of my first questions, but maybe you can? What is the difference between 'Artist' and 'Performer'. I haven't found this tag in Russian versions of WMP and iTunes and all translations that I've found in various dictionaries are the same for both words (I speak about translations that is applicable to music) - something close to English word 'performer'. I cant change translation of 'artist' - this is an established term in Russian. So I need to play around with translation of 'performer'. May be there are some synonyms in English?

to me a performer is an artist in their own right but is only performing some particular part on the track. Maybe use "contributor" or "minor artist"
