both versions didnt work

This is weird unfortunately I am not sure what would be the possible cause could you tell me the exact device? and any more info if possible, so I can try the next version in a similar setup (or emulated environment)?
Still since there was a lack of updates, the development still continues. I will start a new topic to make things easier as soon as a new test version will be available.

On the new version the server (plugin) will be able to do, along with allowing anyone to connect, IP filtering either by allowing only clients specified in a list of allowed addresses or clients in a range of from x.x.x.a to x.x.x.b.

On the application side there is a major re-design, (help from a friend) and at the moment I am working on the ability to display the track duration/progress bar information.

Unfortunately it takes a little bit longer than expected due to major rework of the code base.

Here is a screenshot of the application at the moment. The layout is almost final only needs a little bit of tweaking.

Fantastic! remote-no-notifications.apk is working on gingerbread! Can't wait to see more development. (The other version caused a force close.)

Edit: Unfortunately now it causes force closes for some reason. I don't know that anything has changed since

Yeah, I'm having the same issue on my phone as well. Neither version works anymore :(

I found the problem: my computer's ip address was changed on the network, but the app was reference the old ip address, which caused it to instantly crash until i cleared data and changed. notifications version still crashed instantly freshly installed

Ok thanks for the information. I ll try to emulate it to find out the reason behind. The notifications version has issues with 2.3.x (and probably 2.2) devices. The device I use for development and debug runs CM9 (4.0.4) and in ICS the notification code works without Force Closing. I should have tested the code against a 2.2/2.3.x emulator image before getting the apk uploaded.
