Migrating to MusicBee 2.0 Beta

If you are using a version of MusicBee that is lower than the current beta 2.0, please note that you MUST FIRST install the very first 2.0 version of MusicBee (MusicBee 2.0 Beta « on: March 02, 2012, 02:15:20 PM »), before adding the subsequent versions.   This version has the installer, as noted on the site.

This step is also noted in the subsequent versions, but in our understandable excitement, it is often overlooked.  After its installation,  said subsequent versions can then be extracted to the relevant MusicBee folder on your machine.

After seeing this recurring issue, I am hoping this post may help someone.

good post.  seems like many bug reports etc lately from newer users are missing this step....
