A couple of issues:
I can't rate tracks from the playlist view since I switched to 3.0
There's no more button to switch between "selected tracks" and "now playing" in the "now playing sidebar"

MusicBee Wishlist / Export information to clipboard... with templates!
« on: November 19, 2014, 02:34:44 PM »
(This is a followup to my post in the General section) http://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=14255
Would it be possible to add multiple templates support to the send to clipboard feature?
I often find myself using different templates to export a playlist for a variety of reasons.
Sometimes I just need the artist list:
<Artist> ! that was easy
Some other times I need a nicely BBcode formatted list :
<Track#>. $If(<Artist>=<Album Artist>,,[artist]<Artist>"[/artist] ")<Title> <Time>
And then I need to enter a new release in the MB (MusicBrainz!) database, the previous template is too complicated then I'd use:
<Track#>. <Title> (<Time>) (for a single artist album)
Another useful feature would be to add a footer/header to the output:
Maybe the total length of the album or a link to the album artist website or MusicBrainz release page.
Hopefully, it will save me (and maybe some others) a few clicks and copy/paste commands.

Questions / Re: Export information to clipboard with templates (an equivalent to foo_texttools)
« on: November 18, 2014, 03:04:55 PM »The only downside to this is that MB can only keep track of one template at a time. This is the main issue for me, I often use different templates and I sometimes need to add a header or a footer to the track lists I generate.

Questions / Export information to clipboard with templates (an equivalent to foo_texttools)
« on: November 18, 2014, 11:36:53 AM »
I've been transitioning to MusicBee from foobar over the last couple of days (and I'm loving it so far!)
I might have missed a plugin resembling this but I'm looking for something similar to what foo_texttools does for foobar.
What it does in the words of others (copied from the HA wiki): "Adds customizable context menu commands for copying information about the selected tracks to Windows Clipboard."
I thought I'd be able to do this with "Additional Tagging and Reporting Tools" but I don't think I can.

Questions / Re: DISCSUBTITLE metadata in FLAC
« on: November 17, 2014, 02:59:46 PM »Aha! Now it works. I was going by the Wiki page http://musicbee.wikia.com/wiki/Custom_Tags, which lists the DISCSUBTITLE tag as what is read, so I just assumed it should work. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!Noticed the same thing on the same set actually. I wonder why the wiki has the wrong information though.
I wonder why musicbee currently uses SETSUBTITLE instead of DISCSUBTITLE for FLAC
