Hi,

Could we have item counts for tree nodes in Library Explorer?

i have added file counts as an optional setting to the library explorer.
Also sorting can be set differently for each category
I will make a link available later

Thanks a lot Steven!

What about a setting to display number of lower-level items than total numbers of tracks under given item (ie. for category Artist and sorting Album it would display '5' for an Artist with 5 albums)?

i would be interested in what others think about showing the node count directly under a node rather than the total track count under a node as it does now (i would prefer not to have an extra option to choose between the two but if opinions are mixed i will)

@Xyzzy, i have changed it as you suggest as that probably makes more sense. However you will need to re-enable the count option

also anyone using yesterday's version should update to this version as there was a endless looping bug for lyrics

Could anybody explain what "Item counts in Library Explorer" means and how to turn it on? Would you have a screen caption? Thanks!

@ vivadavid
there is now a right-click option in the Library Explorer to 'Show Count'
if enabled it shows the number of items in each node level
so, if you have it set to sort by 'Album Artist/ Album' it will show the number of Albums for each listed Artist, when you expand an Album node, it will show the track count of each Album

Bee-liever, thank you for the information. I've been through the options of the explorer, and by clicking here and there, this is as far as I can get:

Could you give me some indications?

Thanks!

your not showing the library explorer in your picture. what you are using is the track browser. to show the library explorer you need to open the left panel ( arrow on the bottom left of your picture) and right click to enable the library explorer.
