what i have done is disable the fade in transition if the MB window is partially or fully obscured by another window:

also this should fix the graphics glitches with the scroll bar

Dunno if I'm the only one, but the part of the fanart behind the equaliser do not have a "fade out" slideshow transition (got this issue with the previous patch too):


And since the last patches, the album cover isn't centered anymore in the right sidebar of the main player (Now Playing layout configuration / Show track information / Track details / Show Artwork above field). Is it Intended?

does it happen if the player bar is not auto-hidden? if it is open right at the start of the transition and then closes then i can imagine why it wouldnt work.

No, it doesn't. Just a 1 second "lag" of the visualiser but the transition effect is applied.

for the first i cant reproduce - i suspect its something about your windows environment or machine. I dont plan to look any further into this unless its reported by others as well

this is an excellent addition, thanks.  i had actually disabled the now playing assistant auto-open, have happily now re-instated it.

not sure what i am doing wrong, but i don't see any difference between the small and medium sizes.  are there certain conditions when they would be the same size?

the small is minimum 60px, the medium is minimun 120px but sized to the track info if greater than the value. If you display a lot of lines in the track info then you might already be exceeding the minimum size

feel bad making a request a this stage as this is near completion but!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

is there a way of making the spectrum visualiser more prominent when overlay panels onto picture is selected. really like this option but a lot of the time the spectrum visualiser is barely visible.

thanks for the new update and have to say the compact player has been a spectacular success.

the visualiser colours are already near maximised for saturation and brightness when drawn on the picture.
Perhaps some who knows more about colour handling might be able to add some comments but i think your only choice will be to either increase the panel opacity or set the opacity to less than 0.5 with text shadowing disabled so the black band displays (thats one of the reasons why i prefer to have the black band displayed)

fair enough. i think i just wont use the  overlay panels onto picture option. just love the vibrant colours the spectrum visualiser can produce to much.

If we're talking HSV (hue, saturation, value) or HSB (hue, saturation, brightness), the third value needs to be reduced by about 40%.
the white/black balance is to close to the white end of the scale without the black band
