Let's say that you've used MusicBee to organize your songs and now you want to import your ratings into iTunes. MusicBee saves your ratings to the original files, but iTunes doesn't read this information. Here's a workaround:

1. Open MusicBee and create 5 auto-playlists: R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 that restrict the library to the songs that have the rating value 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.
2. Open iTunes and create a new standard playlist: Temp.
3. Select all the songs from the playlist R1 and drag them to the Temp playlist in iTunes. Select all the songs from Temp, right-click, select "Rating", choose 1 star and then delete all the songs from the playlist.
4. Repeat step 3 for the other playlists: R2, R3, R4, R5.

This posting was very helpful... here is an update to help others.

I did as the poster said "create auto-playlists called R1, R2, R3..etc in MusicBee" - this worked very well. Then drag & drop into iTunes.

The "drag and drop" suggestion may have worked with older versions of iTunes (v10 and below?) but it doesn't work with iTunes v11+

Another post suggest that you "export the MB playlist to an external file"... then use the "Import Playlist feature in iTunes" to bring the MB playlist into iTunes.

Quote "Right-Click Playlist> List> Export as External Playlist then import the M3U into iTunes"

Hope this helps others as these posts helped me. Thanks!
