I've just learned that this plugin is pretty much dead, but I'm hoping someone will have a suggestion for me. I've been using the MusicBee remote app for years for D&D playlists; I curated a bunch of playlists based on environment, situation, etc ("Town", "Exploring", 3 levels of combat difficulty, as examples). The app let me just tap each playtlist as a change occurs (DM calls for initiative against the dragon, so I tap "Combat (epic)"!)
I had no idea that the app itself was even off the Play store until I just attempted to fix my issue by uninstalling it (luckily I was able to manually reinstall it to my phone). The problem is this: I recently had to change my PC's motherboard and CPU. I carried over my SSD data from prior to the MoBo problem and everything seems fine/the same, barring programs that now consider this to be a different PC. I reconnected the MusicBee Remote app to the 'new' version of my PC and it displays the current song, lets me pause and skip, but now I can't tap the playlists to get them to change. I can't find any settings that might relate to this. Does anyone have any thoughts of a way I might fix it? Or even a different program/app to use? I'd prefer to keep MusicBee since I've done a lot of work to set these playlists up within the way MB structures it (using the custom tags to create auto playlists), but I'll accept changing my set up if need be.
