16) Adding to my request (3): I think the tabs look great like they do in the preferences and edit windows (look under). Would be a nice addition to the main window (in the 4 places with tabs). The border does not show under the active tab, but goes around it and under the inactive tabs (Similar to Firefox and Chrome). Also, rounded corners look better (not currently rounded in library explorer and track information).

I agree with this.  Especially since I am trying to get rid of this line right now:

It's tied to "TabsBar.Tab.Highlight" bg, which makes it impossible to blend with the bottom of the gradient.  Could it be changed to match bg2, if present?  Please and thank you.  :)  (There is a similar problem with the tabs in Track Details.)

- We're gonna need a whole set of skinning elements for new compact player only, including player bar bg, player controls, wave bar, progress bar, star rating.

- Would be nice if track info panel and player bar can be colored differently for classic compact player.

- Support for Menu.DropDown.Highlight fg color: http://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=8231.0

- Need a handling to avoid fixed TM screen glitch: http://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=9077.0

While doing these;

the following bitmaps can be overridden in the main panel tool bar - all are 16x16 except where stated otherwise
PanelNewTab
PanelBack
PanelBackDisabled
PanelForward
PanelForwardDisabled
PanelRefresh
PanelStop
PanelBookmark
PanelLayout                   (28x20)
PanelLayoutDisabled     (28x20)

i think some of the skins could benefit by overridding the default icons. Its in the next 2.1 update

can you also look at the background highlight for them, so that they can be matched with the toolbar button highlight.

And one for 'PlayingTrack in Tab', as I think it's the only tab left that can't have a custom image.

Thanks in advance

additionallythe following element for setting the highlight fill colour on the toolbar buttons and command buttons:
Panel.HeaderButtonOverride.Highlight

http://musicbee.niblseed.com/V2_1/MusicBee_Exe_Patched.zip

Does this only work for bitmap skins?
I found that Controls.Button.Highlight still fills highlight color for the toolbar buttons, and Panel.HeaderButtonOverride.Highlight displays some blended color for command buttons.

Ditto redwing, still happening after update.  I wonder if this is skin-related like the player problem?

Unrelated, I was hoping there could be a way to have a top border on the column headers (rendered here using TabBar.JoinLine) even when the tab bar is not shown:

(Edit to add: ideally anywhere, not just in main panel.)

Also, could LibraryExplorerHeaderGap close the line below the categories, as well as above?  (I'm talking a second extraneous line from Panel.Body.Default, which you can see in this post just *below* the blue bdr of Panel.TabSelector.Default: http://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=9614.msg56494#msg56494.)

Thanks in advance!

Edit again: I know someone else mentioned it too but I haven't been able to track down where.  If the sidebar and compact players could have separate ProgressButton settings from Controls.Button.Default, please?  (Found it: http://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=2499.msg39416#msg39416)

(Not expecting any rush on these, but writing them down for reference.)

i was intentional that it blended with the background colour like the default button highlighting but i realise now its better to give you full control so its been changed to not blend the highlight now

this has the change (not tested but should work)
http://musicbee.niblseed.com/V2_1/MusicBee_Exe_Patched.zip

Thanks! Now it gives a full control over mouse-over color for command buttons. But it has no effect on toolbar buttons which are still controlled by Controls.Button.Highlight. Was it what you meant?

With my test, Controls.Button.Highlight is an override for toolbar buttons. But never mind, it's not that important.

I experience the same thing.  Controls.Button.Highlight is taking priority over Panel.HeaderButtonOverride.Highlight, no matter what order they're in.

When using FullNodeSelect, the color of little triangle icons (red-circled) does not follow the font color. Happens with library explorer and playlist folders.
