Hello

I come frome the Mediamonkey forum and I'm new to the MusicBee forum,
long time i watch to this nice program and his progress in function and skining possibilities,
and I thought that now it is time for a final attempt
and what i can say,it's realy impressive.
big respect to steven and all developer.

and for shure i test the bitmap based playerskin creator,
so far everything looks ok,
but i have a couple of Questions:
1:
is there no Filler object for the Voulume bar ?(like in ProgressBar)
2:
how i can get the TrackText centerd (like in Silas WMP12 Skin)
3:
can the Ratings made bigger ? ,looks like they don't support Image objects,
at last i can't bring it to work.

i hope this is the right place to ask this questions,
and they are not answered X times!

Hm,can No one give me a hint !! ???
did i wrote or ask something wrong?

Ok, centered Tracktext question are solved,
i found this element:

  <element id="PlayerInfoCentered">true</element>

not really centered but ok.

her is what i done so far:

still 2 questions are left,
1:
is there a filler Element / object for the volumebar or not ?
2:
and can the rating stars have a bitmap image ?

Steven wrote:
"any element on the main player panel can be repositioned and have any bitmap image displayed, including the background and middle part of the panel panel"

i look into several skin files ,but i can't find any example !

also i have another problem :
i use the   <element id="ScrollBarMargin">5</element>  to have a thin scroll bar ,
but the ends don't look right resized ( see screenshot above )

would be nice if somebody could give me some hints.

Hi BinghiFire, sorry no one has gotten back to you yet. Unfortunately, I don't know the answers to your questions.

I would try asking this question in the General forum.  I get the sense that more people read that section.  Besides, your question doesn't strike me as having too much to do with skins, but maybe I'm mistaken.

btw, welcome to Musicbee!  :)  This is a terrific program, and despite the lack of comments you've received so far, I've found everyone to usually be speedy in assisting.

my meagre skinning abilities only extend to editing xml files so i havent used the skin creator - sorry, don't know?  hopefully one of the more knowledgable forum members can help you out.  its always great to see new people having a go at skinning...

Thanks for the answers ,
so i can just sit and wait until somebody bring me to the right way.
Until then i will dive up into MusicBee's skinning secrets  and discover new land for me :)

i can have a look at this on the weekend but could you answer the following:
1- would it be possible to do a mockup just so i am sure what you mean
2- not currently, again it would be helpful with a mockup just i can i overlook something
3-<element id="ScrollBarMargin">5</element>  to have a thin scroll bar
i can see what is wrong in your screenshot so perhaps if you sent me the skin as it is now then i can better see

what i try to do is to rebuild the lower player into MusicBee

1:
what i miss, is a volume trailing  (filler object) for the volume bar,
maybe i just don't find the right example ?
but isn't it standard ?

centered text is solved ,i think i have to replace the love button!

2:
i thought the star ratings can also replaced with bitmaps,
because you wrote all player elements can replaced now with bitmaps,
maybe i just don't know the right code to do it.
