Hi.

today I got my Sansa Fuze MP3-player, but if I try to sync a playlist or at least copy some files to the player the process failes after copying at least one or two files. This is the error log (only German, sorry).
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

Thanks a lot!

do you have an online virus scanner running by any chance?
what is happening is MB is copying the music file to a temporary folder and then attempting to update the tags (this could be because you have artwork resize enabled on the device preferences, or if you have 'replace artist with sort-artist' ticked, re-encode mp3 to smaller size, or possibly when volume leveling is enabled).
but when MB comes to write the updated picture or tags the file is locked. I suspect because an online scanner is reading the temporary file immediately after the copy to the temporary folder - i can put in handling for this but could you confirm this sounds plausible

edit:
i've put in some automatic retry logic if the file is locked for the next update, but i would still like to know if you have an online virus scanner that might be temporaily locking the newly created temp file

Bingo! The anti-virus program was the source of all evil. To disable that thing isnt an option I think... Kaspersky Antivirus 2010 is running on my system.
Thank you for fixing that problem!
