A-Z browser and sort by artist

Why does A-Z browser only work for artwork view in main music library, could we have it work at all times, like after searching for all rock albums, i could then use A-Z browser on the search results.

When in main music library view and grouping albums by artist, which now shows a picture for each of my artists and the number of albums below each artist picture, how can I then sort all my artists with most albums?

the a-z browser should work for all views in the main panel and uses the first item in the current sort order to determine what file to jump to
