Hi,

somehow I realized, that a lot of files are not visible in the musicbee library. Normally, all music is on drive Z. I dont know how it happened but there are a lot of files missing. The Problem is, that i dont know exactly which files are missing, so readding them manually is not possible. Is there an option to just set the "folder" from where only files are added to the library, which are not already in the library?

I guess rescan wouldnt work because it only works for the files in the library, not for a folder right?

All the best
Nick

Press the [Insert] key.
(or: Main menu > File > Scan folders for new files…)

okay just to be shure: there is the option "send duplicates to the inbox". what happens if i untick this box. Does that mean it will just add all duplicates to the library then? Dont want that haha.

Duplicates are separate files (that have certain similarities)
Single and unique files will not get added to the library twice.
