Hello,
I have search around, but couldn'y find something related to what I experience during playback, I think it is something very easy to do, but I cannot manage to find/ to set.
So, I am playing from a playlist, I have, let's say, 3 tracks:
a ( currently playing)
b
c
I insert another track into the playlist after "a"(during playing), let's say "D". So, the order now, visually, is : a, D, b, c. After "a" is over, MB jumps to "b", even if "D" is now after "a". Even if I delete "b" from the playlist, it still finds it and plays it.... :(
Is there a continuously way to play the tracks that are currently into the playlist, without jumping to the old track?
Thank you!

Have you tried right-clicking on track D and selecting Queue Next?

If you have and it's doing what you expect...
What version of MB are you using? (Help > About) INCLUDE THE LETTER (if any) AFTER THE NUMBER
How was MB installed? (Store, Installer, Portable)
How are you inserting track D?
Download the latest MusicBee v3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

MusicBee version 3.6.9198,  installed with the classical .exe from MB site, Win10.
I am inserting track D with drag and drop from another playlist or from the folder structure, both within MusicBee, not from the explorer.

"Queue Next" - I have tried it after reading your reply, thank you! It's working !
But ( also noticed right now, after "Queue next" operation)....if I insert two or more tracks ( D1,D2, etc), after D is done playing with "Queue next", it comes back by playing "b", and not going as it would probably be right - at D1.
I also tried the " Follow the cursor" check, but still plays the track which have the cursor over it, and then revert to the old order/track...

I haven't tried this, but you may have to right-click > queue next once for each track you're adding.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

I am sure there was and still is a logical reason for this to happen but, maybe in the future, the developers could add, eventually, an checkbox which could let the tracks plays continuously in the order that you see on the screen, even if you add them while the others are playing.
Still the best app on the market for my needs!
Thank you for your help!
PS: I don't fully know and don't want to break the rules, but can I add this as a post on the Wishlist? Or can it be moved there?

I insert another track into the playlist after "a"(during playing), let's say "D".
How are you doing that exactly?
And, are you talking about an actual playlist, or what you have showing in the 'playing tracks' panel?

I am into the"Playing tracks" panel. On the left I have the playlists, on the right - the folders, as they are in the explorer.
Whatever operation I make to insert or to move a track, it does the same thing.
Example : I go to another playlist, drag and drop another track "D" into the current playlist ( the playlist that I am using right now is "a,b,c "), go to the current playlist and move the track "D" ( which was inserted at the end of the playlist) - > right after "a" ( which is playing right now). So the tracks in the current playlist looks like : "a, D, b, c". Right after "a" is done, the player start with "b", regardless tha fact that after "a" is now "D".

If I insert and move after "a" more than one track (D, D1, D2, etc), after "a" is done, it goes to "b", like "D's" doesn't exists...
I hope I am explaining well this situation....

After the replies from phred, I use the "Queue next" command, but it only worked for the next track ( obviously), but right after it was done playing, the player goes back to "b". Even if I delete "b" from the current playlist, it still finds it in the backgroud and plays it.
If I am inserting more than one track ( for example 10-20 tracks), it is a little bit difficult to stay around the laptop to use the "Queue next" command after each track is starting, so that I cover all the 5 tracks, there are situations when I am not near the laptop.

I am into the"Playing tracks" panel.
Ok, but it's still not clear to me.
Are you dragging tracks into that panel to the position you want them to play? (that should work for sure)
Or are you dragging tracks from some folder view panel or a playlists panel into some playlist?
If that is what you are doing, it obviously won't change the playing order of what is lined up in the 'playing tracks' panel.
I think.
Hm, maybe I am underqualified to understand/answer this.

Even if I am dragging them from the bottom right after the playing track, it jumps to the one that was before I dragged them. So ( I will add also the autonumbers, to see that the app is ok and numbering them in order) :
1. a.
2. b
3. c
4. d
If I move "d" after a, it will become :
1.a
2.d
3.b
4.c
But, after "a" is done, the player will play the"b" track, not "d"

Even if I am dragging them from the bottom right…
What the * is 'the bottom right'?
Your layout may be very different from how other users have set things up.
So 'bottom right' means nothing.

So either use the proper terminology for the different panels, or add some screenshots of what your MusicBee panel looks like, and describe in detail where you are dragging tracks from to where.
