What I already understood from existing forum topics is that Display Artist is the only artist tag that goes to Last.fm as artist. What coudn't find out if there is way to change Display Artist for now and forever with some kind of regular expressions to cut all artists after first one. The problem is that now I need manually edit all my songs one by one to cut all artists except first one from Display Artist to scrobble properly to Last.fm. Is it possible? Am I missing something?

Also wonder why Display Artist is not exist in file data until I enter tag editor and save nothing. Is it how it's supposed to work?

How my Artist tags stored now:

Is it correct way? Should I change something in order to scrobble properly?

Hi there,
If you are wanting to remove the second artist entry from the Display Artist permanently, you can achieve this by using the ASR plugin. The pre loaded example “Remove everything after including custom text from Tag 1” should give you the result you’re seeking. Just put whatever separator is between the two artists in the custom text box.

Hey, it worked like a charm. I just enabled auto-execution in plugin configuration, then set up mentioned by you preset, also hit on auto-execution there. Seems like it should work for any new music I'll add in future, isn't it? For all I already have in library it worked with ease, no idea why I wasn't able to find the answer by myself. Thanks!

Yes that’s correct. Just  be careful when selecting auto execution. While it will do do any new music you add, every time you change tags on your music it will automatically implement the preset to begin searching for tags to be changed meaning extra load on the program more frequently. If you can run it manually yourself periodically you will be much better off.
