This happens quite often: Now playing tab -> right main panel (with lyrics activated).
For example, something like this appears after fetching lyrics:
<!DOCTYPE html>Atheist - Animal lyrics | Musixmatch[schema.org,
@type: MusicRecording,
  @type: MusicGroup,
  name: Atheist,
description: Lyrics for Animal by Atheist. ,
headline: Atheist - Animal lyrics | Musixmatch,Animal,
name: Animal,8387688_500_500.jpg'gtm.start':d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0],3 localStorage.getItem('theme') ||

3
And then the proper lyrics follow.

Editing lyrics, does remove this, however if you ctr+tab to a different tab and then return it reappears. Meaning it somehow doesn't get saved.

I've seen this occasionally and it's not a bug per se, but rather the lyric provider plugin not cleaning it up.

What are you using for retrieving lyrics? A plugin or native MB? If a plugin, please post this on the thread for that plugin.

It is a bunch of plugins. Actually, I might have installed almost all of them, and I don't know how to pinpoint which one is doing the get request. Apart from having them set in priority.
I hope there is a better way than deactivating / reactivating / testing in order to find the culprit.

Find a track in your collection that has the unwanted lyric info and delete the lyrics. Disable all lyric plugins. Run a lyric search. If lyrics are found, you're using MB's built-in lyrics finder. If no lyrics are found, enable -one- of the lyric plugins and test again. Still no lyrics? Disable that plugin and enable the next one. Keep doing that until you find the plugin that's giving you the unwanted results. Then post the issue on that plugin's thread.

Guys all you have to do is:

1.  For Mayibongwe's LyricsReloaded plugin, go to Preferences/Plugins/LyricsReloaded and be sure "show source" is checked (choose Top or Bottom), and the source will appear in the MB lyrics panel;

2.  For slonopot's plugins, go into each of their *.conf files and be sure this value is set as shown:
"addLyricsSource": true,

Been like that for years (..phred ;) ).

I do have LyricsReloaded. I can't see the "show source" option however, when I navigate there.
What I see is:
"Enhanced lyrics retrieval, Manage providers at: Tags (2) -> auto-tagging -> lyrics.
And that simply takes me to the interface where you enable/disable the plugins.

I am using slim theme, maybe it is missing some options.

A skin (theme) has nothing to do with options. It is only the coloring of the UI and some layout options.

I have the feeling that you haven't updated the plugin in quite some time. If after following this, you still don't have the "show source" option, you need to update the plugin. And perhaps MB also.
Go to Preferences > Plugins > lyrics reloaded > tick the "show source" box and select top or bottom

This is what I have.
As I stated previously...

But definitely the plugin.

Thanks again, I fixed it.
