Mixed mode for lyrics!

Just something I was was thinking would be a nice improvement.  I wont be sore if it does not make into a future update  .  I might be the only one who might want it.  At the moment I am rather nonplussed with the lyrics control though (specifically sync'd music).  I do love it don't get me wrong.

But:
If I set it to "selected tracks" the display is completely static.  Even when the selected track is also the playing track.
If I set it to "playing tracks" it's great when actually playing a song.  If I stop the player though and browse around the lyrics do not change.  As nothing is playing.

I would like to propose a "mixed mode".
- If a song is playing the lyrics will follow the song regardless of where I click or my selection.
- If a song is not playing the lyrics will follow the selection.

Not really sure where pause would be placed.  You could make an argument for either case but, since my skin is missing a stop button in favor of just a pause, I would place it in case 2.  (I do know how to stop a song... just saying).

Forgive me, my comprehension skills on here are a bit rusty at the moment, please clarify the following for me:

what exactly does "where I click" and "my selection" refer to here?
As it stands, the behaviour is that "If a song is playing, the [synced] lyrics will follow the song regardless of where I click or my selection."

Here too...what does "selection" refer to?
What should the lyrics panel be doing when no music is playing?

Ok yeah.  It can be hard to describe.

When set to "Playing Track":
Good - If a song is playing is does not matter what track you click on.  Lyrics stay on screen and [synced] lyric files work.
Bad - If a song is not playing the lyrics still will not change to the track(s) you click on.
To see the lyrics I would need to actually play the song, change the mode to "Selected Track", or look at the tags.

When set to "Selected Track":
Good - Lyrics change when clicking different song tracks.
Bad - The lyrics are always static (they do not follow [synced] lyric files) and, if a song is playing, I would prefer if the lyrics stayed with the song.

Proposed "Mixed Mode":
If a song is playing is does not matter what track you click on.  Lyrics stay with the song and [synced] lyric files work.
If a song is not playing lyrics will change when clicking to different song tracks.
