Need help with a skin

Hi,
Need advice to finish a skin.
Is it possible to fill the icons shown in 1 an 2 screens with a different color?





I want to change white color to a darker color to merged better with the total skin color scheme.
I don't want to insert the icons themselves in skin as 64base images.
...Maybe something like "Controls.AlbumThumb" and "Controls.GenreThumb"?
How I did on the screenshots below:





I just didn't find the necessary elements.
I used Cheetah DNA v1.6_Skin Creation Tool.

Those are images that can't be colour-adjusted by modifying an xml skin.
It will require modifying (or creating) the images themselves, and that can only be done by creating an .xmlc (compiled) skin.

(typing 'xmlc' in the custom forum search will provide you with some useful links on how to do that)
