Author Topic: Centering Album Artwork Panel  (Read 1275 times)

Hello. I tried searching and editing the XML file for an hour to no avail.

I want one of two options that effectively do the same thing.

1. Make the album art within the Artwork Panel width = 300px and centered. https://imgur.com/e6XJOhs
2. Vertically & horizontally center the album art within the Track Info Panel. https://imgur.com/a/zUl9BEN

Any help would be appreciated.

you could narrow the width of the right panel and the artwork will resize. Or display it from the track info panel where can specify a size

I did think about adjusting the width of the panel, but it messes up the column spacing for other panels.
And the track info panel is good, but I just hate how it's not centered if it doesn't fit the window. It looks so awkward haha.

No worries. It is what it is.

You can have a secondary Track Information panel, and set that one up to only display artwork.
To simulate centering, you could set it to 'artwork to the right of fields', and have it using a virtual tag that only contains a field of a certain width that is 'invisible'. (by e.g. setting its contrast to 1)

edit
Sorry, I see that won't work.
The image will always get docked to the right border.

If OP had asked me to advise whether or not it was wise to delete the account after asking one question, I'd have screamed it isn't.
I guess for his next question (which is inevitable if he sticks with MusicBee), he'll come back as spaghettiloup or something (keeping an eye out for that alias, haha).
