Stating that you're using the "latest version" isn't as helpful as giving us the version numbers.
- What version of MB are you using?
- To clarify, are you using the visualizer plugin, or the visualizer that comes with MB. If the later, which one are you using? If using a plugin, create your bug report on the thread for that plugin so the plugin developer can see it. And include all the info I'm requesting.
- Does MB crash every time you open MB? Or only when you enable the visualizer?
- Are there any entries in the Error Log (Help > Support > View Error Log) from the time you had the crash? If so, copy and paste it here.
- Please post a screenshot of the entire MB window so we can see how you have it set up?

Download the latest MusicBee v3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

What specific "visualizer .dll downloads" are you referring to?  Are you selecting the panel element first for "visualiser: graphic" from the panel config menu (button to the left of the Search box) and dragging it to the left side so MB knows where to place the window?  Then, select which one to see and when to start it from the View>Visualiser menu on the toolbar.
