Hi,

I've noticed an issue that only seems to occur in the compact player. When lyrics are set to scroll on the right sidebar of the compact player and when lyrics begin to scroll to the next line, MusicBee's GUI crawls to a near-halt with all animations dropping to ~3fps. However, when you set lyrics to scroll in the main panel (left side), MusicBee's visual performance is uninhibited. Just the same, when viewing lyrics inside of the main player, visual performance is uninhibited. When the lyrics scroll and stuttering occurs, audio playback and Windows usage are uninhibited as well.

Monitoring my system resources when the stutter occurs, GPU and RAM are unaffected. However, CPU usage jumps from 3% to 15%. Likewise, lyrics scrolling in the main player only causes a ~2% increase in CPU usage. While troubleshooting, I found that lowering my desktop resolution from 2160p to 1440p and finally 1080p yielded considerable increases to the framerate and responsiveness of the compact player while lyrics scrolled in the right sidebar, returning to a "nearly" normal state.

While I don't have access to that computer at this time, this issue also occurred on my laptop which previously had MusicBee installed on it (Windows 10 Home, GTX 1060M, i7-7700HQ, 16GB RAM).

Please let me know if there's any other information I can provide.

MusicBee 3.5.8698 P
That version is about a year old. Update to the latest 3.5 patch, or ideally the 3.6 patch. Both available via the link and instructions in my signature.

Apply the patch and try again.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.
