I finished using the virtual drive. I completed the sync process to the virtual drive and then copied the files to the SD card that goes in the player. Everything worked great!

The copy feature also worked, but the more files I copied (I was trying just 255 at a time), the more errors I started to get.
I found another thing interesting. Though the music appeared not to have been copied to the SD card, the space was taken up - free space was minimal even though there did not appear to be anything on the SD card. I reformated that card and then tried the virtual drive process, which worked without a hitch.

Again, thank you for your assistance. Let me know if there's anything else I omitted, or didn't explain fully.

Thanks for letting us know. And it's great to hear that you've got a method to do what you set out to do.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.
