I have read many threads here and tried many things. I tried to download a patch from someone here but it led to something called "Privacy Shield Browser", so I didn't complete that.

I have never successfully synchronized a playlist to an SD memory card (micro). After nearly a day (128 GB card), I got "Synchronisation Failed" https://imgur.com/a/k9fzSGE

Since I have lost all hope that this can be resolved (after years of looking for the answer), I am now just asking if I can cancel that dialog box without losing all the music that has been put on the SD card.

Thanks for your assistance.

From 'someone'? That doesn't instill much confidence in what you did.
Patch updates for 3.5 and 3.6 can be found here
First make sure that you have updated to the most recent version of either 3.5 or 3.6.
If that hasn't solved your issue, report back?
(specifying the exact version that you are now using)

MTP can be very slow indeed.
A simple trick is to remove the SD from your mobile and plug it into your PC using a USB adapter.

Another strategy is to make a small play list e.g. 10 songs. Now that you have synchronized once, you can use the WiFi for the remaining tracks.

I have the patch for 3.5. My MB is 3.5.8447. To apply the patch, do I need to know where the program is? I assume so. However, I cannot find the program location anywhere. I cannot right-click the icon because there is no option for Open File Location. What is my next step? MB is extremely frustrating for me. I like it, but it is nearly impossible to successfully load music to my Hidizs player's micro card, and in addition, it is a long process that takes a day or longer in some cases. I am willing to keep trying if someone is willing to help me.

This sounds like you're using the Windows Store version of MB. If so, you can not apply the patch. It can only be applied to the Installer or Portable versions. Please go to Help > About and tell us what if there is a letter after the version number, and if so what is it.

If it's an "S" then you have the Store version. I would suggest that you download and use the Portable version - available from the first forum topic. Put the Portable in something like C:\MusicBee. (You can leave the Store version installed for now, which may help you set up the Portable.) Once you have the Portable up and running, get the latest patch from my signature below. Use the 3.5 patch, or if you want to update to the latest 3.6 use that patch. Once you've set MB up the way you like it, try syncing. Then you can uninstall the Store version.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

It is the Windows Store version - it says "Store" after the version number. I will install the version you recommend. Thanks for helping me out.
