Hello,
I'm just gonna get straight to the points because, despite my research, I can't find a suitable answers to all my problems, even though it seems that I've got everything tools needed to get it sorted. I specifically (and finally) created an account here for this matter.

1. How can I split the artists on the different Musicbee fields (main and guest artists) knowing that they are specified on the same Artist field? I use commas, but also the keywords "vs." or "V/S" and the symbols "&" or "×" to separate artists. Guest artists are preceded by "feat." or "w/" in brackets.

2. Is there a way to retrieve Remixers from track title automatically and add them to the list of artists as Remixers? Even if I have to make some adjustments by hand on a few exceptions. On my side, remix references are in square brackets in the title (with "Remix", "Edit" or some specific terms saying someone change the original track).

3. And finally, how do I write the "Display Artist" as an "Artist" tag on the MP3s in my librairies and not the list of artists separated by semicolons, or worse, just the first artist? All without changing the value of tags (main artists, guests and remixers) under MusicBee. This would be a great help when searching for music in softwares other than MB and in my case, DJing softwares.

And FYI, I've installed the "Additional Tagging & Reporting Tools" plug-in. Maybe I'm missing something here. Any help from you is welcome, thank you.

Here are a few examples of tag management I'd like to have automated:

Hello and welcome to the forum, dyl_m.

All of these can be achieved with the above-mentioned plugin.
Questions specific to its features would have to be asked on its thread in the plugins board of the forum, so that those with better familiarity on it can provide assistance.

Have these (amongst other presets) not worked for you?

I understand. It's just that the reply thread already contains so many messages, I didn't think it would be wise to ask my question there directly. I'm also not so used to asking questions on forums anymore, I have to admit it.

Not really, I think the special separators I have on my side (like the "×" for example) cause quite a few problems.

But you could use " x " (include the spaces) to overcome this

I could have done that, but I don't know how to use the tagging tool very well yet. In the end, I was more efficient editing everything by hand.
And it seems I can't make a backup before modification because of a weird error, but that's another problem, I'll see the dedicated thread for that.

Now it would be nice to have some help with the last issue:

I think I just figured out what's wrong with my "displayed artist" tag problem.  :-X

Actually, it's how multiple artists are tagged in MP3 format under the ID3 standard.
So I think that in my case, the TPE1 value should be the same as DISPLAY ARTIST one. But, tell me if I'm wrong, that would remove the multiple artists information under MB, wouldn't it?

What context are you wanting these tags to show up in? A portable device? Some other music software?

In other music softwares indeed, mostly DJing software (Virtual DJ, DJ.Studio and Traktor Pro).
The display looks OK with Mixxx, though.

Yeah, unless they also have a way to configure custom tags, the display artist won't show up. It all depends on how each piece of software handles multiple artists (if they do at all) what will show up. I think the semicolon is the most commonly used multi value separator, but then MP3tag uses something like // which has caused all kinds of confusion.

To get a consistent single value displayed on all software, you would probably have to copy the display artist tag to artist and tag separate artists some other away.
