Currently using the mouse wheel anywhere on the player panel will affect the volume level up or down.
It would be awesome if the wheel could be used to seek forward and backward through the playing track when the mouse is pointing anywhere over the progress bar/wave bar.
This function would save a ton of point and click actions when 'quick previewing' all the tracks on an album/playlist in order to determine if the songs are relevant to the user for instance.

Thanks for all the great work in developing this terrific player Steven.  :-*

Hello,

Are you aware of this ? : https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/5e19d355-1060-4293-a8ff-992746baae03

Both types of spectrograms do not handle wheel mouse for seeking. Also, even if the progress bar is disabled, the wheel mouse is still handled by it.
I use to disable the progressbar and keep the wide spectrogram for practicality.

I can confirm this.

If a progress bar is displayed then hovering over that progress bar +scroll works as expected

If you hover over either wavebar choices it doesn't work, except unless you hover over a very thin area above the wavebar (the bottom one in the OP's layout)

Thank you for bringing new features but Is it possible to turn this off? The old way was good, the volume was adjusted even when I had the cursor over the progress bar and was spinning the mouse wheel. I didn't have to be so precise with the mouse cursor over the volume control like I do now. I understand that someone might like it in the new way.

A big fat +1 from me.
I also appreciated the previous behaviour much more, being able to use the scrollwheel anywhere in the player panel to adjust the volume.

Also chiming in to say a toggle would be appreciated. I just updated and it's VERY annoying to have to hover my mouse over a tiny area to get the same behavior as before.
