heya. im having a handful of files showing up inside my error long every time i start musicbee. its creating a massive `errorlog.dat`, currently 1.20mb

with these lines repeated some... 1000 times each, for each file, when i search them.

i have no idea why the files files are producing errors...

any idea on what i should do ?? where to start looking??

The "handful" (lucky!) of files throwing this message ("An attempt was made to move the file pointer before the beginning of the file") are probably corrupted in some way.  They could have damaged headers, or despite the .mp3 extension have other-than-mpeg contents--the latter showing up occasionally from web download sites or free "convert to mp3" tools."

Examine the contents of one of the files with MediaInfo (https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo) and post the results here.

You can also try fixing one with free MP3 Diags (https://mp3diags.sourceforge.net/) which has a variety of mp3 analysis and repair tools.  Take a look at its detailed user guide posted on its website.

If possible, the simplest and fastest answer may be just to acquire new copies of those few files that will scan in without errors.

Adding to sveakul's suggestion for things to try, a google search on the error message usually seems to point towards some database issue.
Maybe corrupted, maybe lack of disc-space, not sure.

You could see if you can revert to a backup version of MusicBee's database file, or rebuild it somehow?
I have no experience or actual knowledge on how to do such things, but a forum search is likely to give you some pointers on that.
