I want to use Musicbee to manage my songs on my Iphone 13 Pro Max.

When I go to sync my playlists to my phone I get this message...

When I go to my Iphone "Internal Storage" it only brings up picture folders.

How can I fix this so I can sync my playlists to my Iphone.

Thanks for your help!

What version of MB are you using? (Help > About) INCLUDE THE LETTER (if any) AFTER THE NUMBER
How was MB installed? (Store, Installer, Portable)
MB doesn't support any Apple devices so how are you trying to sync to the iPhone?
Per your screenshot, the location you're trying to sync to doesn't exist. Either edit to the correct path in MB device settings, or change the path on the iPhone.
It might be helpful if you post a screenshot of the device settings from MB.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

I used the installer for version 3.6.8849.  There is no letter after it.

Here are the device settings from MusicBee.

I am just trying to not have to maintain playlists on both MusicBee and iTunes.  I really like MusicBee on my computer, and it's so easy creating the playlists.

Is there a way to transfer playlists from MusicBee back to iTunes?   Just wondering.

Thanks for all of the help you are giving!!!

the plugin i linked in my previous post will auto-sync MB library and playlists with iTunes. Have you tried it?

More info here about that plugin
https://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=36718.0

I think one issue you might come across is the version of iTunes you need to work with an iPhone 13 might not be very compatible with the plugin. There are a lot of bugs with the iTunes API. That thread details the latest version that works without issues.

If you're lucky it might just work with a later version. If your not so lucky it might work with multiple attempts. If your shit out of luck it won't work at all and there is probably not much I can do about it.

Tested with IPhone 13 Pro Max, newest iOS. Seems to work without issues. Playcount & skipcount sync. It just run slower than MediaMonkey sync (seemed that it copies every file on each sync again) and
I don’t know how to gain files to same volume level.

It doesn't copy every song unless you check "refresh metadata". I'd recommend leaving this unchecked unless you have updated a lot of song info in musicbee. If you have a large library and updated a couple of songs that you want reflected in iTunes, consider just manually changing them in iTunes.

Copying a new song to iTunes is quite slow in the API. If you have "refresh metadata" unchecked and do a sync where you have added some new songs to musicbee, you will notice it goes a lot slower when it gets to adding the new songs.

Also make sure iTunes is not displaying album covers. For whatever reason the sync takes a lot longer if this is the case, set it to display songs instead of albums.

The version of iTunes used also effects the sync speed. As I've detailed in the thread, some of them are very slow.

It seems to work faster with your hints. Do you have any suggestions, making titles same volume as replaygain does?
I can let it check by my iPhone, but volume leveling of iOS isn’t good as replaygain. It has more noticeable volume jumps than replaygain on Android or Musicbee. Also sync with Mediamonkey does a better volume leveling than iPhone itself. At the moment I‘m still Mediamonkey user, but wan‘t to go back to MB, since I found your plugin and Wifi sync app for Android is reanimated.

Me too, old habits with Mediamonkey so I'm afraid to change sync to another app.

After a lot of testing this plugin and new versions of Android sync,
I decided to stay with Mediamonkey atm. That plugin works so far, but also aborts sometimes and seems to double playcounts then. And volume leveling isn’t as good as Mediamonkeys. I’m very thankful, that Boringname made it working again, but buggy moments while syncing are annoying. I like Musicbee more than the Monkey, but syncing is more important for me, than stationary listening.

Sorry, I don't have any experience with replaygain. It's not something the plugin handles at all.

Does MediaMonkey sync with the iPhone directly or does it use itunes as well?

as far as remember, it can be set up in device or "device" prefs (no need for any special support by plugin).

Edit Preferences -> Devices -> Configure -> Settings -> level volume

This can be set to "tracks at same volume" or "albums at same volume".

Thanks my friend. I know so far, but that changes volume to a solid level. Makes sense, listening only single tracks or playlists (track volume) or complete albums (album volume). But choosing track volume will affect listening live albums. I don’t know how Mediamonkey treats IPhone sync. It seems that they convert replaygain values to Apple soundcheck values. iPhones volume leveling recognize it and differentiated between single track/playlist or album listening. Also Itunes is required, but I don’t know, if it’s needed to open the gate or if files copied  with Itunes. I couldn‘t find temp files somewhere.
