Today I took the plunge and updated from the 3.5 series to MusicBee 3.6.8913; this is my first question re the new version!
I run a floating window with the CoolEdit Nostalgia visualizer in it. When MB starts the floating window is displayed, but any click elsewhere in the GUI will immediately hide it behind the interface, which was not the case in 3.5.8909. If the main 3.6 GUI is minimized after this happens, the floating window appears open and active on the desktop--IOW, it gets "hid" instead of minimized.
The desired behavior would be that the floating window stays open until deliberately minimized, no matter what is done elsewhere in MusicBee. That is the concept of being de-linked (see Edit below!) it would seem to me.
If I am missing a new setting on 3.6 that controls this behavior, please let me know; if it is a bug please move this to the bug thread; if it is new behavior by design please also let me know so I can enter a Wishlist request to have the behavior reverted. Thanks!!
Edit: While I see
here that the floating window was unlinked from the main in 3.6, surely it should not "disappear" behind the main GUI upon any click elsewhere?? Having to keep re-displaying it after every mouse movement is nuts!
