To make it more compact so I can open as many tabs without the UI breaking.

I use a single folder for most songs but there are seperate artist I want to listen for different occassions and I seem to have run out of tab bar space. I have been renaming the names to short as I can since past few months but it is full now. The skin UI has also started to break now.

Hi wallflower and welcome to the forum,

It sounds like you are creating a tab for each artist - as you have found you will soon run out of space doing this.

MusicBee provides many ways to set up and browse your library (far too many for me to go into all of them). You might like to spend a little time reading the wiki, for example:
The Anatomy of MusicBee
Navigation Elements
Playlists

I think that you probably want to look at using the Thumbnail Browser but it is not quite clear (to me) what you are trying to do.

Hello....Musicbee has been a music heaven for me. A place to get away from online streaming and ripping my old cd's.
Thanks for you answer....I'm getting a bit familiar to editing a skin.
I managed to hide the New Tab button but that was all so I reverted back for now until I learn to disable some UI elements.

I tried searching the forum but I couldn't find people being able to disable the navigation arrows and search bar (circled in the picture).
