Hello,
I have my new music on D:Temp
My collection is on D:Music/Single
When I validate music from my Inbox, I tag it then CTRL+R to organize it towards D:Music
Sometimes, musicbee integrates it into D:Music but the file remains in my Inbox instead of my collection
Why ?
Thank you

Do you have the hotkey set up to COPY the files or to MOVE the files? It sounds like you're copying the files. And I don't think CTRL-R is a default assignment, so you probably assigned it yourself. Which is fine except you may have assigned it to the wrong action.

Select a file and hit the hotkey. Take a look at the window that opens and under the presets field there are  three fields. Above the first field does it show "copy" or "move"? Then check to make sure "to folder" and the "naming template" are correct. If you find you've assigned the hotkey up to copy, then simply reassign it to move.

Thank You!  :)
This problem only happens from time to time (about 1X/10)

Thanks for the screenshot - that's always helpful. So you are definitely moving the files.

Unfortunately I have no explanation as to why, only sometimes, does the file get copied. And to the wrong folder. I guess it shall remain a mystery until someone else chimes in with additional insight.

It is copied to the correct folder (D:Musique/Single) but in Musicbee it remains in Inbox
So I'm going to look for it in D:Music/Single, cut and paste into D:Temp. I try the manipulation again and it works

Screenshot of the same settings in English for ease of reference.

So, as long as "add to library" is always ticked before the reorganize button is pressed, then MusicBee should always be moving it to the library afterwards.
You are claiming that, that doesn't always happen? (Which implies the presence of a bug)
For the bug to be investigated/verified by others, you would have to drill down to the specific irregularity in the files that don't move after the operation.

Maybe the problem files have the same extension?
Maybe they share some tag that other non-problematic tracks don't have?
Et cetera, et cetera.

We won't know any of that. Only you will be able to say.
So unless uu can reproduce the anomaly consistently, this will likely remain unsolved unfortunately.

Edit: Below is the screenshot you linked to.

Ok Thanks
Before organizing my files, I use MP3tag to tag.
I'm already going to try tagging with MusicBee at first.

After you've moved the files, have you tried refreshing the Inbox to confirm the files still remain?

If you tag anything in your MB library with Mp3tag or any other external tagger, you need to RE-SCAN those files with MusicBee afterwards for it to pick up and act on those changes.  Tag using the MB built-in tagger to avoid this.
