Happened to notice that there is a pretty new (April 2025, v 2.11) update of the "1by1" directory player--free, simple, and yet with a good engine under the hood from the developer of the classic mp3DirectCut editor.  Give it a shot if MusicBee just doesn't fit your needs.  Heads up:  plays only MP3 by default but dropping in the appropriate BASS dll files (the same as those used by MusicBee from un4seen) will add all the formats you could want--yes it will play Internet radio streams also from an m3u playlist file.
