there are 2 versions for both album

1) 16bit 44.100 , like the cd

2) 24bit and 44.100  , i don't know if there is a better dither or better quality

should I enable some settings in musicbee 3.5.8698 ?
well , does musicbee play flac 24bit at 44.100 in wasapi exclusive mode?

When using WASAPI Exclusive, Musicbee play all audio at its native sample rate. Likewise 24 bit will be passed untouched (unless you do DSP inside Musicbee like volume control).
Personally I wouldn't bother with 24 if you have to pay more. It extends the dynamic range from -96 dBFS (16 bit)  to -144 dBFS (24 bit). You might wonder if your playback chain is able to reproduce such a tiny details.
If might be a nice experiment to buy the 24.
- using a spectrum analyzer, check if there is much life below -96. Most 24 bit recordings stop at -100.
- downsample it to 16 bit and do a ABX test (unsighted of course). Can you really hear the difference?

You can use Musicbee's volume control without issues.

A couple of spectrum analyzers: https://www.thewelltemperedcomputer.com/SW/AudioTools/Spectrum.htm

I have a couple of 24 bit albums. Most of them 96 kHz, some 176 or 192.
If  > 96 I always analyze them as you can find all kind of nasty things like refresh rate of monitors, etc. Most of the time I down-sample them to the half.

I'm not able to hear the differences between a 24/96 and its down-sampled 16/44.1 kHz equivalent.

There are several factors to consider. Hardware plays a big role. Are you using mid- to higher-end headphones or a decent home HiFi system? is your audio being processed and played through a built-in sound card or something more robust? And is the source material going to make a difference? Everyone has an opinion, only you can decide if higher resolution files are worth the additional cost.

Sorry if the start of my earlier reply has been separated from this.
All albums are in individual folders.
The reason for the query is that in one compilation album track 5 has a track gain of -0.5dB when all the other tracks have a replay gain of between -3.1 - 3.5dB and although MB claims to level volume T5 plays a lot louder than all the others - only in MB not MM. I am trying to level all volumes.
After posting, I found that I had posted a track number variance, in 2017,  when further details were requested. If this forum is about posting only relevant information, when the postee does not know what is and what is not relevant I'm off back to MM.
Since the initial posting I have managed to find a view I can use. What has come to light, although I ticked all tracks, not all albums have be levelled and have begun to level albums individually. I think there are about 30 albums.
How can you switch between a reply and the post of the reply without you losing your reply?

The MusicScope manual states:

"Click on „Play“ starts the playback, whe-
reas „Analyze“ starts the fast analyze mo-
de.
It is possible to switch anytime between
„Play“ and „Analyze“ to go quickly
through the track."

So have you tried the "Fast Analyze Mode?"
