Anyone know how to change the colour of the speaker icons?

I use Gray (slim) skin and it looks perfect for me, but the little speaker icons next to whatever song is playing is bright red. Does anyone know how to go about changing it to be white to match the rest of the theme? Same thing with checkboxes.

No, elements under <colours> are defined by RGB values, elements under <images> are defined by base64 encoded images.

This will allow you to change most of the colours and icons of any xmlc skin.

For #1, I think you can try to change IconColourOverride and see if it makes a difference.
For #2, you are out of luck as that skin is bitmapped/compiled. The progress bar is custom-made and the only way to change its colour is if you have access to the source files.

I'm pretty sure these icons can be colour-picked with the Sample Skin.
What happened when you tried that?
