can I sort/group tracks in the playlist/now playing by file format?

Hi
I have ripped with musicbee the same album in flac , mp3 and aac file audio format
but when I send the album -> play now , i have in the playlist/now playing
1 tack name
1 track name
1 track name

and so on
is there a way to group them in the playlist/now playing by album and codec ?

may i add some screenshots ?
maybe it's not possible to have 1 album encoded with mp3 and after the same album encoded with aac
in short in my playlist/now playing before the album encoded with lame or aac
i have searched around this forum , but several outdated topics and without screenshots

Why don't you just group albums by file format? Or am I not understanding the full context of what you're attempting to achieve?

You could add the .Ext tag to the end of your sorting order (in your main panel), or add the .Ext tag to what defines an album, in Preferences > Sorting.

Yeah, to be honest I'm not very familiar with the Now Playing view and I couldn't find a way to do what you wanted in it, or in the Upcoming/Playing sidebar for that matter
