I am locking this thread.
The developer has not shown any kind of interest or response to this request/suggestion over the whole 6 months this thread existed, so I am guessing that it is not going to happen, and it is a waste of time for anyone to put in more time/effort/arguments regarding this.

For the next v3.6 update i have added 4 more custom tags. To preempt inevitable requests for more, please dont or ask for justifications why not
