Sounds like the OP could be using a plugin such as UPnP/DLNA.
But creating a bug report without providing any details about his setup is of course pretty much useless.

well gentlemen I have reinstalled Musicbee and Asio is now working again. My installation must have become corrupted.  I have used Musicbee for many years and find it excellent. I run an Evo150 with a pair of B&W 803 diamonds and a pair of Wharfendale airdale sp speakers and the Asio driver from Cambridge works perfectly with Musibee. Thank you for a great program.

I have the same issue again.it will play 24bit and 44khz but stops when a 96khz track tries to play. here is a link to another person with the same issue. it's not a big deal as it works fine if i switch to wasapi exclusive. thank you all for a great program!

ASIO and WASAPI (Exclusive) do the same thing.
Is there an issue with just continuing to use the latter?

The Incredible Boom Boom I like ASIO as it gives me more information with respect to latency as you can see in this photo.
After finally having time to play with this again I found a workaround . In Player- sound effects -add crossfade tracks to 1 sec and fade in 0.5 sec. all working fine nowhttps://i.imgur.com/nJ6lJK6.jpg. thank you for the help

as an experiment, could you try using this version with cross-fade disabled
https://getmusicbee.com/patches/MusicBee35_Patched.zip
unzip and replace the existing musicbee application files
