Tags not being saved to view outside of MB

Hello

I've been sorting tags out in Music bee, specifically release dates of albums and I've found that some of them don't save outside of Music bee

I've looked at my preferences and they're definitely set to ID3v2.3


They're showing correctly in Music bee


But not showing on Explorer


Or in MP3tag


Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

I don't think the File Explorer Properties window will ever show a full date in what it thinks is a Year tag, so I wouldn't rely on that.

I'm not sure what the rules are, but often saving a full date in a Year tag will save it into separate Year and Date tags.
If you open the Tag Explorer in Mp3tag (Alt+T), does it show the full date in the Year tag, or is there a separate Year and Date?

It's odd. It only shows year if I use a / to separate but if you use a format like 23 Apr 2023 then it goes in. It is fine on FLAC but on MP3 it just refuses!

I will check to see if it's separated into day/month/year
