I use Musicbee in a simple way

i have 20,000 songs - easy. The playcount on every song = 1

To get true random playback I have a playlist with a rule that says play randomly all tracks where playcount = 1 i.e. the 20.000 songs reduce as once played the playcount becomes 2 and no longer meets the playlist rule

I am finding that when I look at the main music file at the end of the day, often tracks have a 3 playcount i.e.those with a 2 playcount have been played again

How? The rule definition doesn't allow

MB plays tracks that are loaded to Playing Tracks panel. By using that auto-playlist, the Playing Tracks panel should be loaded with tracks that meet the playcount criteria at that time. I assume you have Repeat enabled - that panel wont get refreshed once all tracks have played and is played again. Perhaps the auto-dj might work better for you

I still don't understand

All my music sits in one folder in D drive - assume 20000 songs

In MB there are 2 tabs - Music that reflects 20000 songs

Then Auto Juke Box - currently reflecting 2500 songs

But the Auto juke box has an auto-playlist rule that says match when playcount is 1 and I can see that from A-Z all tracks = playcount of 1

So if one of the 2500 songs is played it's now got a play count of 2 and doesn't meet the criteria

But I'm finding more and more tracks played 2 times get played again - confused
