Hey all,

New MusicBee user here. I am likely just missing it, but is there a way I can sort all songs by bitrate and file type?

What I am trying to do is to single out all non-mp3 and under 192 bitrate songs in my library for replacement. It is a large library, around 90k songs.

Thanks for any help!

You can do a custom search with the criteria being
.Ext is not mp3
AND
Bitrate is less than 192

Better yet is to create an auto-playlist with the same criteria.  DO NOT covert them to FLAC or a higher bitrate since that would give you better quality. You shouldn't covert a lossy file to a lossless file. The advantage of the auto-playlist is that as you weed out the tracks they will automatically drop off the list once they no longer meet the criteria.

EDIT: Or, as hiccup stated, a filter with the same criteria. Which would also remove the tracks from the list once they no longer met the criteria.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

looks like hiccup answered your question by mistake under your newest post here:

Should be easy to do by creating a library filter or an auto-playlist.
You will find both already have 'bitrate' and '.ext' in their drop-down condition/selection menus.
