Closing Musicbee from commandline

How can I close MusiceBee via commandline before a restart to save playlist location

I have MusicBee running in a VM that restarts once a week.
When the PC restarts MusicBee goes back to the first song in the playlist due to it not being closed ?cleanly?.
i've tried 'taskkill /im musicbee.exe' which does close MusicBee but still goes back to the first song.

You could probably get an AutoHotkey script to do this.

I'm familar with AHK but prefer AutoIt
That seems a bit much just to have the application close AND save the playlist location
Just saying
