Tab button no longer moving between the editable columns

I recently updated and grabbed the Advanced Tagging Tools for MusicBee 3.5.8254 and now the Tab button no longer moves from one editable field to another (Title/Album/Artist/Album Artist...) in the middle panel list (I do not know what your label is for it). It just closes and saves after changes are made.

I'm still learning the ins and outs of things here and am wondering how to fix this. I saw there's a Hotkeys section in Edit - Edit Preferences but I can't seem to get the Tab key to register as selected key if that's where I should go to fix this (I was using Edit: Save/Goto Next).

it's not related to tag tools plugin. the same behavior here with plugin disabled. mb 3.5.8254
