I'm looking to do a fresh install of windows but want to make sure when I install Music Bee I am able to copy over my existing customizations so it looks and performs the way I have it now.

What files should I be backing up?

If you're using the Portable version, just copy the entire directory in which it lives.

If you're using the Installer, Edit > Saved Settings > Save Settings Snapshot
AND
View > import/Export > Export Arrangement.

If you're using the Store version, you could try doing the same as for the Installer, but I don't use it and don't know if those options exist.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

It's easy for me.

I have all my music files in a directory called "MUSIC." Big surprise, I know. MusicBee automatically puts a folder in that directory called "MUSICBEE SETTINGS BACKUP." Just don't delete that, and you will be good to go!

I'll +1 the concept of using a portable install, just for this very reason. All you ever need to do is backup the entire folder and it's there when needed.

It has an entire rundown of MB's file structure, you can decide what you want to keep from there
