Find Album

Using V3.2.6827, it seems that search by album is not working, it just opens a new tab with the one chosen song.  If one more then one song is selected, then just the first song is displayed.

I'm sure this did work, am i doing something wrong?

Does it work for others?

It's working fine for me. I've never had a issue with the Search > Find Album function.

It might be worth updating to the latest patch. See my sig.

Thanks for that, but still does not work.

Shame it was a feature I used quite a lot.

It can't be tags, because it does not work on any album.  But, if it works for you, it must be me.

Will keep looking.

if you post a screenshot of the application showing where you are searching from then that might provide a clue

Found it, I should of looked instead of asking.   

In Preferences \ Sorting/Grouping in grouping there is an option to specify how files are grouped to an album.  Mine was set up for Album Artist, Album Name, Size - so each song had to be the same size. 

Clicking files for each album are in the same folder, restore the correct function.

I'm sure i have never set this up - ah well, not too worry it now works.

Just wanted to say that I had a very similar problem and this answer helped me. Some of my albums would list correctly when I  did Search > Find Album, other's wouldn't. It turned out that my 'Various Artist' compilations were causing trouble as the album artist (AA) was not set correctly: If AA was set to 'Various Artists' it would have been OK but sometimes AA was set to the track artist. Anyway thanks for the post as it sorted me out!
