Splitting album artists

Would it be possible to split the field albumartist the same way as the field artist?

What's keeping you from doing so?

It is advisable to keep 'album artist' as a single value tag.
If you want to use multiple album artists, it is best to create a custom tag 'album artists' for that purpose.
