Panel arrangement

I have recently changed the skin on my player and decided to re-arrange the elements in the various panels as well. I loaded both the volume visualizer and wavebar into the same panel, but when I tried to move them within the panel they appeared to be locked in position, unlike some of the panel borders which can be altered to give a different appearance. I also noted that both items ran horizontally and wondered whether one (or maybe both) could be changed to appear to operate vertically instead ? Sorry, but it must be all of the time I spent around mixing desks, seeing VU meters going up and down which has prompted this question.

The volume visualizer and the wavebar are horizontal only.

As for them being "locked" together, since you added them one at a time, remove them and add them back again in the opposite order than you did the first time. I don't know if that will work, but it's all I can think of.

Thank you for your reply, but the reason I asked is that I have a side panel with what is basically a large hole in the middle of it after adding these elements to the panel, as when they are loaded they automatically take refuge at the bottom of the panel and cannot be moved. This is also why I was wondering if either could be altered to run vertically so they would at least appear to take up a bit more space.

In reply to your request, a thumbnail image of the window is as hown in the image . I hope this has worked as I have never tried it before and took your reference as to how to create the image. Anyway, as you can see in the left hand section, at the top is the track details with the album artwork and at the bottom is the VU meter and wavebar but nothing in between. That is why I was hoping to be able to alter the meter function so that it was vertical rather than horizontal.

Thanks for the screenshot. I see what you're referring to but I have no solution. Hopefully someone else will have a suggestion.
