It should be clearer which song is playing

Which song do you think is playing? The song that actually is playing is the one, of the two highlighted songs, that . . stands out less than the other. That is:'Got Glint' is the song playing. I submit that here we see that the UI needs a change.

MusicBee is consistent in displaying a speaker icon for the playing track.
The way selected tracks are highlighted depend on the skin you are using.
So you could find a skin that matches your taste better, or edit an existing skin to your liking.
