Hi All,
I am stuck with a problem; I have a huge music collections 50 thousand songs.
When I have the music, option picked and I am looking at my list of songs
The Artist list column is populated correctly. The Tile list column has loads of missing tiles for the songs.
Too many missing titles to hand type in. I need MusicBee to auto insert the correct tile for the songs.
I know MusicBee knows what the correct title for the song is, even though,
there is no text to label the song because if I go on search for tile of song it finds it correctly 100% of the time.
I have been trying to use Auto-Tag_by_Track. Without much success.
Maybe I am using the wrong option to complete the task?
I am sure what I am trying to do can be done!
Could someone please enlighten me in how to do this step by step please.
Thank You.

Update to my post
------------------
If you left mouse click on the empty space where the song title should be
the correct label for the tile of the song appears, but there does not appear to
be anyway to insert it into the Tags (track title).
When I have the tile of the song showing in text on the screen
I have tried copy & paste in the title box it is appearing in
which then returns to been blank.
There must be a way to keep the text on screen?

Hi, could you provide screenshots of the behavior you're describing, that's an odd one. Also we could provide better assistance with the infer script if we saw your file name structure.

Do the file names have the song titles in them? If so, try the "Auto Tag by Track" option and select "Infer and Update Tags from Filename". Just remember to try it on a single file first to see if it works, before you start with multiple files.

Hiya, psychoadept,
I have more or less sorted this out, and come to the conclusion that
My music collection is in such a huge  mixed up mess that
It’s probably better and quicker to delete the software and start again.
It’s a bit like sorting a tangled ball of wool out here. Lol.
I have song title that are using album names and vice versa
Duplicates are listed, but when listened to are not duplicates.

As a side issue psychoadept, can I use my Google Drive URL Link when posting
Screenshot’s in the forum ?

Thanks for your help.

Thanks Corliss Rain for the advise on using  "Auto Tag by Track"
I did try using that method.

As MB is -primarily- as music manager, it's not MB that needs to be un/reinstalled. It's your collection that needs to be put organized properly. To take advantage of this, your collection needs to be tagged properly. And MB can help with this. Yes, it may be time consuming, but if you want to manage your music, this is the way to go. If all you want is a music player, you can use MB, or one of the many players out there.

I don't think so, but you can certainly test it yourself. Instead of posting a test reply, simply do a preview. And be sure to cancel it when done.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.
