Hi
is there a way for us, translators, to compile the LNG files at home, in order to test our translations immediately... and correct them?
Just asking :)
Cheers

No need to compile.
If you save it as lng, and place it in MB's Localisation folder you can then select it in the language preferences panel.

You're welcome.
I also found it's indeed pretty much required to check almost all translations in a running MB.
It's amazing how many 'correctly' translated lines show up completely ridiculously in the program, or sometimes even with a complete opposite meaning when using it in MB.

Joyeuses fĂȘtes!

Merci and same to you :)
I fully agree with you. Testing localization in place is key!

Steven, the "Unknown Subscription" list in the Podcasts area is not in the localization file.

And it seems to be the same for some highly visible wording in the Playlists area:
- the default new playlist name: "Playlist"
- the default new folder name: "Folder"
- the default playlists names:"Recently Added", "Recently Played", "Top 25 Most Played", "Top Rated"

Thanks

In 2 popup windows concerning the synchronisation German text will be truncated:

1) Device Synchronisation...:

2) Preferences - Devices - Configure - Settings:

1) Device Synchronisation...:
is that definitely using the latest v2.5 on the first forum topic?

Hi Steven

I'm sorry, I didn't re-check Marvin's post with the current version. The checkbox was part of 2.5.5447, but doesn't exist anymore in 2.5.5469. So, you're right, only #2 still exists.

they are done for the next update. Keep in mind for the default auto-playlists that they will only be set on first installation so you wont see the change

2) Preferences - Devices - Configure - Settings:

thats fixed for the next update

Hello,

Steven, could we have :1/:24/:059 convention expanded to all IDs?

The introduction of new conventions for plurals is great.
But it could be even better.
I found a few strings (IDs), for which should also be introduced similar conventions:
Code
#TM.msg.hbaitl3d#
#TM.msg.hbaitlw#
#TM.msg.hbaitlm#
#TM.msg.mtcf#
#TM.msg.hbat#
#Sys.ctl.DCEF14B7#
#tTag.msg.  genres#
#Dup.col.352FB09C#
#AutoSD.msg.0in1mins#
#AutoSD.ctl.493A25AE#
#Main.msg.mins#
#Main.msg.hours#
#Main.msg.days#
#Scan.msg.Frac-a#
I suppose that this list is not exhaustive (and it is possible that something does not belong there).

Hello
During synchronization, the "Status Sync" string is not translated. Yet it is at the end of the sync, showing the final status.
Cheers
