Many lines have an ellipsis at the end, as you know, Russian and other languages have significantly longer words and sentences than in English, which makes it very difficult to be obvious and easy to quickly perceive. There are many lines with hard-coded ellipses in the translation. I have removed some of the ellipses that are not hard-coded, since they do not carry any value in the Russian translation and significantly increase the string.
Is it possible to remove the mandatory ellipses where they are hard-coded?
Also, in places where they are needed and do not increase the lines, I replaced "..." with sign "Mid-line ellipsis" - "…" this saved some more space, but now these ellipses and the "Mid-line ellipsis" look different;

Here it is shown how and so very long strings also have hard-coded ellipses;

Sorry for my bad English.

It looks like I have duplicates in my language file:

#LBck.msg.TbfcbLSf#      The backup folder cannot be the same as the Library Settings backup folder
#LBck.msg.TbfcbLSf#      A backup folder needs to be selected

Which one is correct?

Could the label here be made a little bit wider?
It should say:
stuurprogramma:

it looks like a mistake and they are both needed
going forward it will be:
#LBck.msg.Tbfnts#     A backup folder needs to be selected

'Writer' has no translation entry:
There is no Writer item - its Composer which i guess has been translated to Writer elsewhere?

Ah yes, you are right.
'Writer' is a concept that MusicBrainz uses, and I must have experimented with that on this testing MB installation that I also use for translating.

I can't get 'Show "Love" button' translated. (compact player)
I thought it might be #NP.menu.ShowTrLove#, but that doesn't seem to work.

A minor matter, under Tags (1) > Lyrics storage, it currently says 'save as external file <music filename>.txt
But if a synchronised lyric is saved, it saves as .lrc, not as .txt.
So have it say something like: <music filename>.txt/lrc
might be better.

1.
Quote
- right click/ "Add to Playlist" is now "Include in Playlist" where you can now add or remove the selected track from playlists
Just to be sure, is that: #XBOX.menu.AddToPlay# ?

2.
I can't find these ones in the translator file:

< 10 secs diff
Select all ticked files
Send to: Replace selected file with another
Send to: Selected file replaces another file
Tools: Album Artwork Manager
Tools: Artist Thumb Manager
Tools: Manage duplicates
Tools: Remove tags
Treat apostrophes ' and ’ the same

(I f-ed up with the scratched ones)

3.
Would it be possible to produce a list of all current translation codes?
It can be a raw list, only containing all #.....# strings that are loaded by MusicBee 3.5.
It would be helpful in creating/updating a complete but concise baseline xml for MB 3.5, without it containing baggage from older versions and duplicates that have been renamed/repurposed over the years.

Updated the previous post with adding two more lines under 2.
