So i've searched the net about this situation and it appears that there's no confirmation to whether MusicBee removes song files or not. My situation goes like this. A few of my songs have disappeared, and its seems random.

So, I searched for the song in question in the music explorer, and it is there, but when I click on find in Windows there's no reaction, and when I click to play it, it gives me the message below.

In Windows files, the folder is still there but the song is gone.

There's nothing in the inbox either.

Its only a few random files that are missing and I DO have a back up of this particular song file on another drive, but I want to keep it from happening in the future. Any help would be appreciated, as I have been using Music bee for some time now and its the best i've seen.

The source file for track not found message indicates to me the file was moved or deleted outside of musicbee

Is the file in the recycle bin? Can you find it with a search in file explorer?
